Yuri!!! on ICE Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Full Episode Stream, Cast Comments, and Special Box Set

TV anime Yuri!!! on ICE is marking its 10th anniversary this year, and a host of celebrations have been announced. To commemorate the milestone, all 12 episodes will be streamed for free on YouTube starting July 17, 2026. In addition, a special Blu-ray & CD BOX is set for release on December 23, 2026. The cast and theme song artists have also shared heartfelt messages to mark the occasion.

Originally broadcast from October to December 2016, Yuri!!! on ICE is a men’s figure skating anime produced by MAPPA, based on an original concept by Kubo Mitsurou and Yamamoto Sayo. Choreographer Miyamoto Kenji, who has worked with numerous real-life skaters, created the routines for all characters, bringing a level of realism that captivated audiences. The story follows Katsuki Yuuri, a skater on the brink of retirement after a crushing defeat, along with rising star Yuri Plisetsky and their coach, the legendary Victor Nikiforov, as they compete in the Grand Prix series. The series was praised for its dynamic animation and unique camera angles that brought the beauty of figure skating to life.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary, a full episode stream will be held on the avex pictures YouTube channel and the MAPPA CHANNEL. The stream begins on July 17 at 20:00 JST and will be a premiere event lasting approximately five hours, allowing viewers to chat in real time. The episodes will remain available until August 17 at noon.

Cast and Theme Song Artist Comments

Toyonaga Toshiyuki (Katsuki Yuuri)

“Congratulations on 10 years of Yuri!!! on ICE!!! This is a very memorable work for me, as I won the Best Actor award at the Seiyuu Awards. All 12 episodes, just one cour – but they were filled with so much passion. That heat reached not only Japan but also overseas, and fans continue to support us. I hope that Yuuri, Victor, Yuri, and the skaters from each country will remain in the hearts of everyone involved and everyone who continues to cheer for them. I am truly happy to have played the protagonist. May you always be able to look back on those memories. ‘My name is Katsuki Yuuri. I’m a 23-year-old Japanese figure skating special強化 athlete.’ Toyonaga Toshiyuki, 42 years old♪”

Suwabe Junichi (Victor Nikiforov)

“Whether it feels like 10 years or not depends on the person, but for me it’s both. The story loved by so many worldwide, and the characters who live in it. The happiness and gratitude I feel for being involved seem to grow with each passing year. I wonder what kind of ‘future beyond’ they lived in a world line we cannot see? I imagine…”

Uchiyama Kouki (Yuri Plisetsky)

“Congratulations on 10 years of Yuri!!! on ICE. It brings back memories. The recording sessions were full of passion from both staff and cast. Being able to witness the birth of this original anime from the stage when no one knew about it, and then seeing it loved by so many after broadcast – that is truly precious. I hope this work continues to be loved forever.”

Hosoya Yoshimasa (Otabek Altin)

“Congratulations on 10 years of Yuri!!! on ICE. The line ‘Are you getting on? Or not? Which is it?’ stands out, but also the fact that my role had very few lines. The character ‘speaks eloquently through skating’ and had many monologues. I remember thinking that sports anime tend to have many monologues, and I envied the other actors having fun with dialogue exchanges.”

Yasumoto Hiroki (Christophe Giacometti)

“An unforgettable impactful work, and a character too strong to be dismissed with just ‘impact’. I was very happy to play him. Has it already been 10 years? Even after all this time, the memory remains vivid and intense. Not just for me, but for you too, right? That’s wonderful. So wonderful that I’ll go get soaked with ice and stuff with Christophe. Please continue to love him.”

Miyano Mamoru (Jean-Jacques Leroy)

“Congratulations on 10 years of Yuri!!! on ICE! I auditioned for Victor and did my full ‘Fukusunaa!’ and was told there’s a role perfect for me – Jean-Jacques Leroy. That’s a great memory (laughs). I felt it was fate. I love JJ. I respect his pride as a king and his fighting spirit even when possessed by a demon. I hope someday I can play JJ again. Now, everyone together! It’s… JJ Style!”

Ono Kensho (Phichit Chulanont)

“This is Ono Kensho as Phichit Chulanont! Congratulations on 10 years of Yuri!!! on ICE!!!!! Through this work, my interest in figure skating grew, and I received a lot of courage. I’m truly honored to have been involved. I hope they continue to give wonderful performances in your hearts. Thank you for your support!”

DEAN FUJIOKA (Opening Theme)

“Congratulations on 10 years of Yuri!!! on ICE broadcast. I’m truly happy that this work, which continues to push people toward their dreams and goals, is still loved worldwide. I’m fortunate to celebrate this milestone with the cast, staff, and fans. Through the opening theme ‘History Maker’, I became part of this work. The gratitude grows stronger over time. Yes, we were born to make history! May new histories be written. Dean Fujioka.”

Hatano Wataru (Georgi Popovich / Ending Theme)

“Congratulations and thank you for 10 years of Yuri!!! on ICE! Georgi Popovich is a skater who passionately expresses love, sadness, and anger. During recording, I imagined a surging passion from within. I hope he remains in many people’s memories. And I’m grateful for the encounter with the ending theme ‘You Only Live Once’. I saw a wonderful view that can only be seen on the Yuri!!! on ICE stage. Thank you to everyone who cheered. As someone involved, I’m proud that so many still love this work after 10 years.”
