A special limited-edition package of momiji manju has gone on sale to coincide with the “Pokémon x Crafts Exhibition” at the Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum. The product, called “Pokémon x Crafts Exhibition Momiji Manju Assortment,” is now available for purchase.
The exhibition itself brings together traditional Japanese crafts and Pokémon, and the packaging reflects that theme. The box features a Japanese-style design with gold foil-stamped maple leaves, perfectly matching the exhibition’s aesthetic. Inside, photos of the exhibited works are printed, making the entire package feel like a part of the exhibition experience.
The assortment includes five popular varieties from Nishiki-do: momiji manju (koshian, or smooth bean paste), tsubuan momiji (chunky bean paste), cheese cream momiji, chocolate momiji, and oimo momiji (sweet potato). It’s recommended not only as a souvenir of the exhibition but also as a great Hiroshima omiyage (souvenir) in general.
