T.M.Revolution released a new version of their iconic summer anthem “HOT LIMIT” on July 22, 2026. Titled “HOT LIMIT – From THE FIRST TAKE,” the track is now available on major streaming and download services.
The release comes after the performance video uploaded to the YouTube channel THE FIRST TAKE on July 10 generated an overwhelming response. The video surpassed 10 million views in just three days, setting a new record as the fastest in the channel’s history. It also topped YouTube’s trending chart, weekly song ranking, and music video ranking, sparking widespread buzz.
In response to strong fan demand for an official audio version, the THE FIRST TAKE rendition was rushed to digital platforms.
About T.M.Revolution and Nishikawa Takanori
T.M.Revolution is the solo project of Nishikawa Takanori, who has performed numerous anime theme songs including the iconic “INVOKE” (opening theme for Mobile Suit Gundam SEED). Under his own name, Nishikawa has also contributed many anime songs, earning a broad fanbase among anime enthusiasts.
Beyond music, Nishikawa is active as an actor, voice actor, and TV program MC, continually taking on new challenges. He was appointed as a “Shiga Furusato Kanko Taishi” (Shiga Hometown Tourism Ambassador) and has been organizing the large-scale outdoor music festival “FEST. INAZUMA” (formerly Inazuma Rock Fest) in his home prefecture since 2009. The event, held annually in cooperation with local government, contributes to regional cultural development. In 2020, he received the Shiga Prefecture Cultural Merit Award, and in November 2024, the Yasu City Citizen Honor Award.
Since July 2026, Nishikawa has been running two simultaneous revival tours: “T.M.R. LIVE REVOLUTION ’26-’27 REWIND OF CLOUD NINE” and “T.M.R. LIVE REVOLUTION26-’27 REWIND OF Joker Type 2,” drawing attention for his live performances.
