Wafer Snacks with Exclusive Cards for Yomi no Tsugai
TV anime Yomi no Tsugai is getting a new line of card-included wafer snacks, set to hit store shelves nationwide in November 2026. Each pack will be priced at 176 yen (tax included) and will be available at confectionery sections of major retailers across Japan.
About the Anime
Yomi no Tsugai is based on the fantasy manga by Arakawa Hiromu, serialized in Monthly Shonen Gangan (Square Enix). The story follows a young hunter named Yuru who lives in a small mountain village and becomes embroiled in a conflict surrounding beings known as “Tsugai.”
The TV anime began airing in April 2026, with its second cour starting in July. The cast includes Ono Kensho as Yuru, Miyamoto Yume as Yuru’s sister Asa, and Nakamura Yuichi as the traveling merchant Dera. Animation production is handled by Bones Film.

Each wafer pack includes one metallic plastic card. The full lineup consists of 26 different cards: 11 special cards featuring newly drawn illustrations original to the TV anime, finished with holo foil stamping; 2 visual cards using beautiful artwork; 9 character cards; and 4 story cards.
