Event Overview
The popular Miffy event “Miffy Zakka Festa” returns in 2026 with a brand-new edition, and for the first time it will be held in Chiba Prefecture. The event takes place at Sogo Chiba Store, 6th floor event space, from August 11 to August 24, 2026. This year’s theme is “red” (aka), and the venue will be filled with apple-patterned exclusive goods and over 1,000 Miffy items. Photo spots and other hands-on corners will also be available, making it a perfect summer vacation and Obon holiday attraction for Miffy fans and families alike.
Limited Edition Mascots
Two highly anticipated limited mascots will be released. On August 11, only 400 units of the “Summer Festival Style Mascot: I Tried Goldfish Scooping” (2,750 yen) will be sold. On August 15, another 400-unit limited run of the “Apple Apron Mascot: I Bought Apples, What Should I Make? Exciting!” (2,420 yen) will be available.
Other Merchandise
Additional items include an acrylic keyring (880 yen), a chenille towel handkerchief (1,980 yen), and a foaming botanical body soap (350 ml, 2,200 yen).
Purchase Bonus
Shoppers who spend 3,300 yen or more (tax included) on a single receipt during the event period will receive a set of four sheets of original wrapping paper (A4 size).
Crowd Management
Due to expected congestion on August 11 and August 15, numbered entry tickets and numbered purchase tickets for the event-limited mascots will be distributed. Fans planning to attend this special Miffy event should be sure to check the details in advance.
