A new folding umbrella inspired by the TV anime Cardcaptor Sakura has arrived. The “Cardcaptor Sakura Oshiburella” is now available for pre-order at Premium Bandai.
Cardcaptor Sakura is based on the manga by CLAMP serialized in Nakayoshi. The story follows protagonist Kinomoto Sakura as she becomes a Cardcaptor, tasked with collecting the Clow Cards that bring disaster to the world.
The “Oshiburella” series is designed for fans who want to secretly enjoy their favorite characters, with detailed designs on the inside of the umbrella.
The “Cardcaptor Sakura Oshiburella” features a simple pink exterior for everyday use, while the inside is decorated with monochrome illustrations of the sealing wand and Clow Cards from the series. When opened, the umbrella reveals the world of the anime.
The pink storage bag also features motifs from the series, allowing fans to subtly enjoy Cardcaptor Sakura even while carrying the umbrella.
The umbrella is a rain-or-shine type, with a light blocking rate of 99.9% or higher and UV shielding rate of 99% or higher, making it useful even in strong sunlight. The parent bone measures 55 cm, the folded length is approximately 25 cm, and the weight is about 200 grams.
The price is 6,600 yen (tax included). Pre-orders are accepted until August 31, 2026 at 23:00, and shipping is scheduled for November 2026.
