A new collaboration event celebrating the upcoming release of Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten will be held at the Sunshine City Prince Hotel in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, starting August 22, 2026. The event features a concept room stay plan and a collaboration restaurant menu at IKEPRI CANVAS, both designed to immerse guests in the world of the film.
Newly Drawn Visuals of Six Characters
For this collaboration, newly drawn illustrations of six characters—Madoka Kaname, Homura Akemi, Mami Tomoe, Sayaka Miki, Kyoko Sakura, and Nagisa Momoe—have been created. These exclusive visuals, which can only be seen at this event, will be used throughout the hotel experience.
Concept Room Stay Plan
The concept room stay plan transforms guest rooms into spaces that evoke the atmosphere of Walpurgis no Kaiten. Decor and visuals throughout the room make guests feel the presence of the characters. Exclusive amenities for plan users include a cushion, compact mirror, hotel card key, and a character fine hotel card key holder.
Collaboration Restaurant at IKEPRI CANVAS
At the hotel’s collaboration restaurant IKEPRI CANVAS (B1 floor), a total of 58 menu items will be offered in two phases, with the lineup changing halfway through the event. Highlights include an afternoon tea stamp rally. Original goods will also be on sale, and life-sized panels featuring the new illustrations will be displayed.
Event Details
The collaboration runs from August 22 to November 21, 2026, for the concept room stay plan, and from August 22 to October 12, 2026, for the restaurant. Reservations for both plans open on August 4, 2026, at 12:00 noon via the hotel’s official website.
Concept Room Stay Plan Pricing (per person, per night, based on two guests per room):
- Without breakfast: from ¥22,350 (includes room, three types of original amenities, tax, and service charge)
- With breakfast: from ¥25,100 (includes room, three types of original amenities, breakfast, tax, and service charge)
Collaboration Restaurant Pricing:
- Drinks: from ¥1,600
- Food: from ¥2,500
- Sweets: from ¥2,500
All restaurant prices include tax and 13% service charge. The collaboration menu is not eligible for discounts. Ingredients and menu items may change depending on availability. Goods purchase is limited to customers who order food.
