New merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations of the main characters from the TV anime Bocchi the Rock! will go on sale starting August 15, 2026. The lineup includes acrylic stands, sticker sets, retro glass, and sakosh, all designed for everyday use. A special fair will also be held at Animate stores from the same day.
Based on the four-panel manga by Hamaji Aki serialized in Manga Time Kirara MAX, Bocchi the Rock! follows the extremely shy and introverted girl Gotou Hitori as she joins the band Kessoku Band, growing alongside its unique members Ijichi Nijika, Yamada Ryou, and Kita Ikuyo. The first TV anime season aired in fall 2022 and became a massive hit, winning numerous awards and gaining huge support both in Japan and abroad. The band’s full album “Kessoku Band” topped Oricon’s digital album ranking and Billboard JAPAN’s download chart for 2023. After the theatrical compilation films, a second season has been announced.
The new products feature the five characters—Gotou Hitori, Ijichi Nijika, Yamada Ryou, Kita Ikuyo, and Hiroi Kikuri—dressed in retro outfits. The lineup includes acrylic stands, sticker sets, retro glass, and sakosh, perfect for daily use.
From August 15 to September 6, 2026, the “Bocchi the Rock! Summer Fair 2026 ~Retro-Chic Girls~” will be held at Animate stores nationwide and Animate Online. During the fair, customers who purchase or reserve related goods totaling 1,100 yen (tax included) or more, or who purchase or reserve books, CDs, Blu-rays, or DVDs (with a deposit of at least 1,100 yen) will receive a bookmark (one of five types) as a bonus.
Additionally, a special display featuring the new illustrations will be set up at Animate Yokohama Vivre from August 15 to August 30.
Fans of Bocchi the Rock! won’t want to miss this merchandise and fair.
