The official website for Dark Machine: The Animation has revealed additional cast members, the opening theme, and a second promotional video. The anime is set to premiere in October 2026 at 1:45 a.m. on Fuji TV, followed by Kansai TV and BS Fuji.

Opening Theme
Rock band BUCK∞TICK, known for their work on Shiki and xxxHOLiC, will perform the opening theme “Sonzai Riyuu Kai.” The song is previewed in the second promotional video.
Staff
The anime is directed by Terada Kazumi at Production +h. Team Carbuncle, consisting of Suzuki Takaaki, Urahata Tatsuhiko, and Ishino Atsuo, is handling series composition and script. Yoshinari Kou is credited as the main character designer, and SUGIZO is composing the music.
