About Boku no Hero Academia
`Boku no Hero Academia` is a thrilling hero action manga created by Horikoshi Kouhei, serialized in “Shuukan Shounen Janpu.” The story unfolds in a world where the existence of people with supernatural abilities called “Kosei” is commonplace. It follows the journey of the protagonist, Midoriya Izuku, affectionately known as Deku, as he strives to become a hero while growing and honing his skills at Yuuei Koukou, a prestigious academy for hero training.
The Heroic Return of Bakugou and Intense Clashes
The TV anime `Boku no Hero Academia FINAL SEASON` marks the eighth season of the series and serves as its climactic final chapter. In the second episode (totaling episode 161) titled “The End of An Era, And The Beginning,” which aired on October 11th, Bakugou Katsuki made a triumphant return in the episode’s closing moments. Fans erupted with joy, expressing their excitement with comments like “I’ve been waiting for this!”, “He’s finally back!!”, and “Kacchaaaaan!”
Today, October 18th, the third episode titled “Rasubosu!!” (The Last Boss!!) aired, showcasing Bakugou’s coordinated efforts with Deku. In a breathtaking turn of events, they managed to rescue All Might from All For One just in the nick of time, delivering an incredibly intense and emotional development.
Following the broadcast, the new “Bakugou vs All For One” visual was released. It powerfully depicts an enraged All For One with Bakugou soaring confidently behind him, creating a dynamic and tense image. This stunning visual only amplifies the anticipation for the fourth episode, ““Kosei”!! Bakuha!!” (Quirk!! Explosion!!), airing next week on October 25th.
Furthermore, Porno Graffitti’s opening theme “THE REVO” received an exciting update starting from the third episode’s broadcast. This new version, designated as Type-2, now includes Bakugou, who has triumphantly returned to the fray.
The updated footage now features Bakugou standing alongside Deku and All Might at the beginning, and showcases his intense battle scenes during the chorus. Fans can now fully immerse themselves in this power-up animation!
“Bakugou TV 2025” Special Live Stream Announced!
On October 25th, a special live YouTube program titled “Bakugou TV 2025” will be streamed, featuring Okamoto Nobuhiko, the voice actor for Bakugou Katsuki. “Bakugou TV” was previously streamed in October 2019 and December 2020, making this a highly anticipated return after five years!
Part 1 of the program will run from 17:00 to 17:30, just before the anime broadcast, and Part 2 will begin at 18:00, immediately after the broadcast, both streamed on the YouTube TOHO animation channel.

Introduction
The `Boku no Hero Academia` TV anime is based on the immensely popular comic by Horikoshi Kouhei, which has been serialized for 10 years in “Shuukan Shounen Janpu” (published by Shueisha) and boasts over 100 million copies in circulation worldwide! The story is set in a world where approximately 80% of the population possesses some kind of supernatural ability called a “Kosei.” It follows the growth, battles, and friendships of Midoriya Izuku, known as Deku, and his classmates at Yuuei Koukou, as they aim to become “Heroes” – professionals who protect society and people from accidents, disasters, and villains who misuse their Kosei. The series, now in its eighth installment, is finally entering its `FINAL SEASON`, set to broadcast from October 2025!!
Story
In a world where supernatural abilities called “Kosei” are commonplace, Midoriya Izuku, a boy without a Kosei, known as Deku, meets his idol, the No.1 Hero All Might. All Might recognizes the hidden heroic qualities within Deku and bestows upon him his own Kosei, One For All (OFA). Deku enrolls in Yuuei Koukou, a prestigious school for aspiring heroes, and grows alongside his Class 1-A classmates in the Hero Department, aiming to become a “Hero” who saves society and people with his Kosei.
Now, in the spring of Deku and his companions’ second year at Yuuei, the heroes, including Deku, and the villains led by Shigaraki Tomura and All For One, finally plunge into their ultimate decisive battle, with fierce combat erupting across Japan. The fateful entanglement of the Todoroki family – Todoroki Shouto, Endeavor, and Dabi (Todoroki Touya) – has been addressed, and the confrontation between Ochako and Toga has reached its conclusion. And now, the battle is set to conclude between Deku, who is unleashing One For All at its full power, and Shigaraki, who has fully awakened by absorbing and overriding the consciousness of All For One that attempted to possess him. Furthermore, the true All For One, who has regained his prime strength through rejuvenation, faces off against the “Armored All Might,” who, despite being Kosei-less, dons a powered suit. Will Deku’s “story of how we became the greatest heroes” achieve its finale, or will everything collapse…!?
