The official website for the television anime adaptation of Kaitani Shinobu’s Liar Game manga has announced additional cast members on Tuesday. The series premiered on April 7 at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo, followed by BS TV Tokyo.

Staff
Kawano Asami (assistant director for Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu) is helming the anime at Madhouse. Urahata Tatsuhiko (Ookami to Koushinryou: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf) is handling series composition and script. Tsuchiya Kei (Hakozume: Kouban Joshi no Gyakushuu) is designing the characters. Kanno Yuugo (Fugou Keiji: Balance:Unlimited) is composing the music.
Manga History
Kaitani serialized the psychological suspense manga in Young Jump from February 2005 to January 2015. Shueisha published the 19th and final volume in April 2015.
Shueisha also published an anthology manga titled Liar Game: Roots of A from September 1999 to January 2004, and a one-shot sequel in February 2010. A sequel manga titled Liar Game: The Last Game was serialized from February 25 to July 22. Shueisha will publish its chapters as the 20th volume on October 19.
