Music-originated character rap project Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- is marking its ninth anniversary with a special event and a highly anticipated live concert, both to be streamed exclusively on ABEMA PPV.
Since its launch in September 2017, the project has featured 18 main characters across six divisions — Ikebukuro, Yokohama, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Osaka, and Nagoya — battling it out through rap. Expanding beyond music and drama CDs, the franchise has grown into comics, games, stage plays, and anime.
9th Anniversary Party: A Special Gathering
On September 5, 2026, the 9th Anniversary Party will be streamed live in both daytime and evening performances. The event brings together 14 cast members: Ishiya Haruki, Amasaki Kouhei, Komada Wataru, Kamio Shinichiro, Shirai Yuusuke, Nozuyama Yukihiro, Hayami Shou, Kijima Ryuichi, Iwasaki Ryouta, Kawanishi Kengo, Kuroda Takaya, Hayashi Shouta, Sakakibara Yuuki, and Takeuchi Eiji. Together with fans, they will celebrate the project’s nine-year journey in a memorable special event.
12th LIVE: All 7 Divisions Reunite
The 12th LIVE, titled “MIC AS ONE,” takes place at Pia Arena MM on October 3 and 4, 2026. This marks the first time since the 10th LIVE in April 2024 that all seven divisions — Ikebukuro, Yokohama, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Osaka, Nagoya, and Chuo — and all 21 voice actor cast members will share the stage. After roughly two years, fans can finally see the full roster together.
The cast for both days includes Kimura Subaru, Ishiya Haruki, Amasaki Kouhei, Asanuma Shintarou, Komada Wataru, Kamio Shinichiro, Shirai Yuusuke, Saitou Souma, Nozuyama Yukihiro, Hayami Shou, Kijima Ryuichi, Itou Kento, Iwasaki Ryouta, Kawanishi Kengo, Kuroda Takaya, Hayashi Shouta, Sakakibara Yuuki, Takeuchi Eiji, Kobayashi Yuu, Takahashi Chiaki, and Yamamoto Nozomi.
Ticket Information and Pricing
In addition to standard tickets, the 12th LIVE offers a multi-angle ticket option that lets viewers switch between four camera perspectives: main, stage right (kamite), stage left (shimote), and a full-stage view. Each angle captures different expressions and stage moments, enhancing the streaming experience. Buyers of the two-day pass will also receive a special behind-the-scenes movie featuring all seven divisions in a relay format.
Tickets for both events go on sale from August 21 at 12:00 JST on ABEMA PPV. Prices are as follows:
