The hit anime film Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will be available for streaming exclusively on Prime Video starting September 19, 2026—exactly one year after its theatrical debut. Along with the announcement, a brand-new key visual featuring Chainsaw Man and Bomb has been unveiled.

Based on the popular manga by Fujimoto Tatsuki, the film adapts the fan-favorite “Reze Arc” and continues the story of the record-breaking TV anime series. As of June 19, the film had earned over 29.7 billion yen at the worldwide box office. Directed by Yoshihara Tatsuya (the first character of whose name is written with the kanji for “tsuchiyoshi”) and produced by animation studio MAPPA, the film brings the arc to life with stunning visuals and action.
The story follows Denji (CV. Toya Kikusuke), a devil hunter affiliated with the Public Safety Devil Hunters’ Special Division 4. While on a date with his idol Makima (CV. Kusunoki Tomori), he gets caught in a sudden rainstorm and seeks shelter, where he happens to meet a girl named Reze (CV. Ueda Reina). She works at a nearby café and smiles warmly at Denji; the two quickly grow close, and Denji’s ordinary life begins to change.

The film blends unpredictable storytelling, explosive action, and a fragile, beautiful emotional core. Now, audiences can enjoy it anytime on Prime Video.
The new visual released for the streaming announcement captures Chainsaw Man and Bomb facing off against a nighttime city backdrop. To mark the occasion, the original creator and the director offered comments.

“We are delighted that Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will be exclusively distributed on Prime Video. I’m very happy that this film can now reach not only those who saw it in theaters but also those who couldn’t make it to the cinema during its theatrical run. ‘Reze Arc’ is a work filled with tremendous passion from all the staff—it’s infused with the love of many creators. Each person poured all their energy into making Chainsaw Man better. The objects and fine details that weren’t in the script or storyboards, the character performances, the dialogue, the sound—countless ideas and refinements born from the collaborative process of filmmaking elevated ‘Reze Arc’ into an even more compelling work. On Prime Video, you can immerse yourself in the world on a large TV screen, or enjoy it on your smartphone or tablet whenever you like.
