Fans of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card can now carry their favorite magical girl with them in style. A new collaboration between the TV anime and accessory brand GAACAL has produced the “PaleCase,” a MagSafe-compatible smartphone case with interchangeable design plates. The case allows you to switch between different illustrations in seconds, making it easy to match your mood or outfit.
About the Anime
Cardcaptor Sakura is based on the manga by CLAMP. The story follows Kinomoto Sakura, a young girl who accidentally releases magical cards from a mysterious book found in her father’s study. As the “Cardcaptor,” she must retrieve the cards and prevent the disasters they cause. The anime has been adapted into three series: Clow Card, Sakura Card, and Clear Card.
The new collaboration celebrates the series’ rich variety of costumes and delicate motifs. Since many fans find it hard to choose just one favorite outfit, the PaleCase was designed with interchangeable plates, letting you change the design whenever you like.

For those who want more variety, the replacement “Design Plates (9 types) [PaleCase Exclusive] MagSafe Compatible” are available individually at 2,980 yen each. You can choose from nine different designs, but note that the case body is not included.
