The official website for the television anime adaptation of Hikawa Kyouko‘s Kanata kara manga has revealed additional cast and staff, the theme songs, a key visual, and the main promotional video. The series is scheduled to premiere on October 5 at 12:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by AT-X, ABC TV, and WOWOW.

Theme Songs
The opening theme “Touhikou” will be performed by the Japanese boy band Genin wa Jibun ni Aru., while the ending theme “Hikari no Gawa de” will be performed by Nanashi no Taro. Both songs are previewed in the main promotional video.
Key Staff
Abe Noriyuki (Bleach) is directing the anime at Studio Deen. Nakase Rika (Raise wa Tanin ga Ii) is handling series composition. Abiko Eiji (Replica datte, Koi wo Suru.) is designing the characters, and Hama Takeshi (Champignon no Majo) is in charge of music.
Manga Background
Hikawa Kyouko serialized the fantasy romance manga in LaLa magazine from September 1991 to January 2003. Hakusensha published the 14th and final volume in April 2003. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in 2004, and the final volume went on sale in January 2007. Kanata kara won the 35th Seiun Award in the Comics category in 2004.
