TV anime Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (The Apothecary Diaries) is bringing its limited-time pop-up event “TV Anime ‘Kusuriya no Hitorigoto’ Yuuen Biyori” to Osaka. The event will run at e Stadium Namba main store from September 6, 2026.
The series, a palace mystery entertainment that has surpassed 45 million copies in circulation, follows Maomao, a young girl working as a poison taster, as she solves various incidents in the imperial court. The first season aired from October 2023 to March 2024, and the second season from January to July 2025. With the third season set to premiere on October 2 and the theatrical film Gekijouban Kusuriya no Hitorigoto: Bouhi no Hihou releasing on December 11, the franchise continues to expand.
Exclusive Goods
The event will feature a variety of original merchandise using newly drawn illustrations of Maomao, Jinshi, Xiaolan, and Shisui. For every purchase of 3,000 yen (tax included) or more, customers will receive one random original postcard (8 types in total).
Additionally, the Osaka venue will offer a new item: “Glitter Acrylic Coaster (new illustration, mini character, all 8 types)” priced at 2,420 yen (tax included).
Special Game
Visitors can also try their hand at a special roulette game titled “Jinshi-sama e no Kenjou, Biyaku Chougou no Gi” (The Ceremony of Aphrodisiac Compounding to Present to Lord Jinshi). This game guarantees a prize, with a tote bag as the grand prize, a mirror as the first prize, and an uchiwa fan as the participation prize. Each play costs 800 yen (tax included).
Photo Spots
Two photo spots, including one featuring the new illustrations, will be set up at the venue. Fans can pose alongside Maomao and Jinshi to capture special memories.
