The anime “Hokuto no Ken -FIST OF THE NORTH STAR-” is teaming up with izakaya chains “Miraizaka” and “Sandai-me Tori Melo” for a special collaboration campaign running from September 16 to October 29, 2026.
About Hokuto no Ken
Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1983 to 1988, with story by Buronson and art by Tetsuo Hara, “Hokuto no Ken” depicts a post-nuclear world where civilization has collapsed and violence rules. The story follows Kenshiro, the successor of the Hokuto Shinken martial art, as he carries love and sorrow while growing into a savior for the weak. The series became a social phenomenon, spawning TV anime, films, and spin-offs focusing on supporting characters.
The new anime adaptation, “Hokuto no Ken -FIST OF THE NORTH STAR-“, is currently streaming exclusively on Prime Video. Set in the devastated world after the 199X nuclear war, it follows Kenshiro, marked with seven scars, as he battles fate to save the powerless in a chaotic era where strength is everything.
Collaboration Drinks and Novelties
Under the theme “Century’s End Tavern: You Are Already Drinking!”, the collaboration offers 12 character-inspired items: 8 alcoholic drinks, 3 non-alcoholic drinks, and 1 dessert. Each drink comes with one of 9 collectible character stirrers.
Highlights include Kenshiro’s “Atatata!! Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken Sour”, which uses popping candy to recreate the impact of the Hundred Crack Fist, and Raoh’s “Waga Shougai ni Ippen no Kui Nashi Sour”, which can be upgraded to a mega “Ken-Oh size” portion.
Receipt Campaign
During the campaign period, customers who spend 3,000 yen (tax included) or more at participating stores can attach their receipt to a special postcard and enter a lottery for exclusive collaboration goods. Prizes include a sumi-e style collaboration T-shirt, an original acrylic block, and a “You Are Already Drinking” mug.
