Pompompurin is marking his 30th anniversary with a very special partner: ANNA SUI. The first-ever collaboration between the beloved Sanrio character and the fashion brand launches September 16, 2026, blending ANNA SUI’s dreamy, vibrant aesthetic with Pompompurin’s irresistible charm.
For this collection, Pompompurin trades his usual look for a formal cape and silk hat, appearing a bit more mature and gentlemanly than usual. His friend Muffin also gets dressed up with a stylish mustache, adding to the festive anniversary atmosphere.
Bags and Accessories with a Touch of Elegance
The bag lineup includes a Drawstring Tote Bag (25,300 yen), a Tuck Shoulder Bag (20,900 yen), and a Mini Shoulder Bag (17,600 yen). The drawstring tote comes with a charm shaped like Pompompurin’s iconic rear end, and the tuck shoulder bag features the same charm. The mini shoulder bag, meanwhile, puts the silk-hat-and-cape Pompompurin front and center, finished with a gold collaboration logo.
Also joining the lineup are a Face-Shaped Pouch Charm (13,200 yen) and an iPhone Case (4,950 yen). The face-shaped pouch charm captures Pompompurin’s adorable expression and opens to store small items like earphones. The iPhone case showcases the collaboration design boldly and fits iPhone 15, 14, and 13; an iPhone 17-compatible version is available exclusively through the online shop.
Handkerchiefs and More from Blooming Nakanishi
Blooming Nakanishi also joins the collaboration with items combining ANNA SUI’s signature butterflies and roses with Pompompurin and friends. The Printed Handkerchief (2,970 yen) is a standard 50cm x 50cm size in three designs, each a limited-edition mix of ANNA SUI motifs and Pompompurin characters.
The Towel Handkerchief (1,430 yen) features butterfly motifs with Pompompurin appliqués, while the Embroidered Towel Handkerchief (1,980 yen) renders Pompompurin and his friends in delicate embroidery.
Additional items include a Zippered Towel (1,650 yen) handy for water bottles or small belongings, a Pouch (4,400 yen) with glittery print and a special lining design visible when opened, and a Tote Bag (4,950 yen) large enough for A4 documents.
