The anime Pan Dorobou is marking its upcoming broadcast with a large-scale advertisement at JR Ikebukuro Station. Giant versions of Pan Dorobou and Nise Pan Dorobou are appearing at the station from September 28 to October 4, ahead of the series’ October 2 premiere.
Photo spot on Azalea Road
The large advertisement is located outside the ticket gates at JR Ikebukuro Station on Azalea Road, near Seibu Food Hall. It is designed to let visitors take photos with the oversized Pan Dorobou and Nise Pan Dorobou.
From picture book to anime
Pan Dorobou is a popular picture book series by Shibata Keiko. Its story centers on Pan Dorobou, a great thief who loves bread. He searches for the world’s most delicious bread and sneaks into bakeries again and again.
