Fujiya 2026 Christmas Cakes: Puppet Sunsun Debut, Tomica, Cinnamoroll, Anpanman

Fujiya’s Western confectionery shops across Japan will hold a Christmas sale from October 1 to December 25, 2026. The lineup includes collaboration cakes featuring Puppet Sunsun, Tomica, Cinnamoroll, and Anpanman, along with other character-themed holiday items.

Puppet Sunsun makes its Christmas cake debut

Among the character collaboration cakes, the Puppet Sunsun Christmas Shortcake (with original melamine plate) is the first Puppet Sunsun collaboration Christmas cake. It sandwiches condensed milk Chantilly cream and yellow peaches in syrup between sponge layers, with strawberries in syrup on top. The ‘Merry Christmas’ chocolate plate uses a limited design featuring a handwritten message from Sunsun. The cake comes with an original paper plate and an original melamine plate designed with Sunsun and Nonnon, and it is handed over in a dedicated box. Fans can celebrate Christmas together with Sunsun and Nonnon.

Tomica Christmas Shortcake

The Tomica Christmas Shortcake is a collaboration with Takara Tomy’s die-cast miniature car brand Tomica. It also features condensed milk Chantilly cream and yellow peaches in syrup sandwiched with sponge, topped with strawberries in syrup.

It includes a campaign Tomica modeled after Fujiya’s caravan car and original paper plates featuring various cars, all in a dedicated box. It is positioned as a way to spend an exciting Christmas with favorite Tomica cars.

Christmas Fluffy Cloud Cinnamoroll Tart

The Christmas Fluffy Cloud Cinnamoroll Tart is a Christmas-limited tart featuring Sanrio character Cinnamoroll. A tart base is layered with strawberry sauce and milky mousse. The product includes an original acrylic charm designed with Cinnamoroll and friends and comes in a dedicated box. The fluffy cloud design is intended to liven up a Christmas party.

Soreike! Anpanman Cocoa Cream Cake (Christmas Party)

The Soreike! Anpanman Cocoa Cream Cake (Christmas Party) is themed around Anpanman. This year, the flavor has been renewed to cocoa cream, with the idea of appealing not only to children but also to the feelings of families choosing a cake. On top, Anpanman and Melonpanna glass dolls and a chocolate plate can be found. The cake is described as fun to look at and delicious to eat.

Christmas Peko-chan Poko-chan and Yukai na Nakamatachi Assorted Cake

The Christmas Peko-chan Poko-chan and Yukai na Nakamatachi Assorted Cake is inspired by the new characters Yukai na Nakamatachi, who were born in January 2026. It brings together six flavors: strawberry shortcake (Usagi-chan), chocolate cake (Dog), marron cake (Hamuo), Amaou strawberry cake (Nekonyan), Hokkaido cream cheese cake (Kotori-chan), and Kagoshima matcha cake (Kamekichi).

Gift items and advent calendar

Other gift items are designed to make time at home enjoyable and to suit Christmas presents. These include the Christmas Advent Calendar, featuring cute Christmas illustrations of Peko-chan, Poko-chan, and Yukai na Nakamatachi; the Okashi Kinchaku (Cinnamoroll Collaboration), with a cute design of Cinnamoroll and friend Milk holding Fujiya sweets; and the Christmas staple Peko Poko Long Boots.
