MIXI announced on October 1, 2026 that Karma Rock Star Stream Drama CD vol.1, the first drama CD from the Karma Rock Star Stream project centered on mixture rock band Karma Rock Star, will be released. The project is a new development from MonSoni!, the music-themed spin-off of the game app Monster Strike, and is set in MonSoni City, a town where music-loving monsters live.
The CD is scheduled for early sale at the Karma Rock Star Stream booth at Animate Girls Festival 2026 (AGF2026), which will be held on November 7 and 8, 2026. A promotional video for the new drama has also been released on the official YouTube channel.
Twilight Gangsters Puts the Four Members in Mafia Roles
Karma Rock Star Stream Drama CD vol.1 will include all seven short voice dramas previously released on the official X account and other channels, along with the new seven-episode drama Twilight Gangsters and NG scenes featuring Basara and Abi.
Twilight Gangsters follows the four Karma Rock Star members as they take on the filming of a mafia movie. In the story, the members appear as part of two rival mafia organizations.
The red-neon organization Tengokurou includes Basara (CV: Hosoya Yoshimasa), who throws himself into battle to protect memories, and Abi (CV: Tanaka Kenta), a dangerous hitman who lives entirely for love. The opposing organization, Il Patto D’Oro (Ougon no Meiyaku), coldly operates behind the scenes of order. It is led by boss Kirinji (CV: Nakamura Yuuichi), who rules with ruthless cunning, and number-two Kokou (CV: Oono Tomohiro), who carries bonds and ties he cannot discard. The roles differ from the members’ usual band activities, and the new relationships revealed through the shoot are highlighted as a key point.
