A Moomin Museum Collection Comes to Japan
The limited Moomin collection "Winter Night Glow" is now on sale. It is based on original artwork by Tove Jansson held by the Moomin Museum in Tampere, Finland, and created for Moominvalley in Winter.
Moomin was created by Tove Jansson, a Finnish author, painter, and artist. The stories of Moomintroll and his companions have been translated and published in more than 50 countries. Goods, locations, and animation based on the original novels, comics, and picture books are loved not only in Finland but also in Japan and many other countries.
The collection was born in connection with "Moomin Mug Mania," a special exhibition at the Moomin Museum in Tampere that focuses on Moomin Arabia mugs.
The design motif is original artwork drawn for the cover of the 1972 French edition of Moominvalley in Winter. The artwork depicts Moomin, Morran, Too-Ticky, and other characters and scenes from the story within a single landscape.
Winter Night Glow Items Released in Japan
In Japan, two items are available: the Mug 0.3L and the Mini Plate 2-Piece Set. The collection expresses the winter Moominvalley world drawn by Tove Jansson in calm colors, making it a natural fit for everyday life.

Release Campaign at the Moomin Arabia Official Online Store
To commemorate the release, a limited campaign is being held at the Moomin Arabia official online store. During the campaign period, customers who purchase the eligible product and apply through the application form will be entered into a lottery. Fifty winners will receive the "Moomin Museum Postcard 5-Piece Set," which is sold at the online shop of the collection’s collaboration partner, the Moomin Museum in Tampere, Finland.
