TV anime Lycoris Recoil is returning to Miyakojima for a collaboration event in 2026. The project includes menu sales at the cafe restaurant Blue Turtle and a collaboration room stay plan at Hotel Atoll Emerald Miyakojima.
Lycoris Recoil is an original TV anime and the first directorial work of Adachi Shingo, who handled character design and chief animation direction for Sword Art Online and the WORKING!! series. The story follows Nishikigi Chisato, a free-spirited optimist, and Inoue Takina, a cool efficiency-minded agent, as they carry out missions for DA (Direct Attack), a secret organization that prevents crimes before they happen.
Anzai Chika voices Nishikigi Chisato, while Wakayama Shion voices Inoue Takina. A stage adaptation was performed in January 2023 with Kawachi Misato as Chisato and Motonishi Akikiho as Takina, and a second stage production was realized in June 2024. The new short movie Lycoris Recoil Friends are thieves of time., which depicts daily-life scenes, has been streaming on YouTube and other platforms since April 2025.
Blue Turtle Collaboration Cafe
Chisato and Takina come to Miyakojima again this year. The collaboration event LYCORIS RECOIL × Blue Turtle Collaboration 2026 starts on December 19 and can be enjoyed by eating at the cafe, staying at the hotel, and collecting goods.
