Fluffy Tail Charms Join the Kimetsu no Yaiba Lineup
The anime Kimetsu no Yaiba is adding a new line of fluffy tail charms inspired by Kamado Tanjirou and the Hashira. Preorders are being accepted at Animate stores nationwide, Animate mail order, Movic mail order, and other retailers.
The charms belong to Houkago Mates, a goods series described as offering a new-retro feel: somewhat nostalgic, yet new and exciting. The Houkago Mates Shippo Charm Mini lineup features 10 designs in total: Kamado Tanjirou and the Hashira Tomioka Giyuu, Kochou Shinobu, Rengoku Kyoujurou, Uzui Tengen, Tokitou Muichirou, Kanroji Mitsuri, Iguro Obanai, Shinazugawa Sanemi, and Himejima Gyoumei.
Design Details
Each charm is designed with a silhouette that sways whenever it moves, giving it a strong presence. Another key point is the included metal charm, which takes its design from the tsuba of each character’s Nichirin-tou.
The lineup includes all 10 types, with Kamado Tanjirou joining the nine Hashira.
Series Background
Kimetsu no Yaiba is a manga by Gotouge Koyoharu that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). The story follows Kamado Tanjirou, a boy whose family is killed by demons. He joins the Kisatsutai to return his demon-turned sister Nezuko to human form, throwing himself into battle against demons. The manga spans 23 volumes and has surpassed 220 million copies in circulation.
The anime adaptation is produced by ufotable. It began in April 2019 with the TV anime Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kamado Tanjirou Risshi-hen and has continued as a series. Following the TV anime Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hashira Geiko-hen, which aired from May 2024, the story continues in the film Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Jou-hen, produced as a trilogy. Its first part, Dai Isshou Akaza Sairai, opened on July 18, 2025. A full-series rebroadcast began on April 5, 2026.
