The 10th-anniversary film Aikatsu Stars! ~Hoshi no Progress~ will open nationwide in Japan on January 22, 2027. Along with the release date, a key visual and full trailer have been revealed, and ≠ME members Ogi Hana, Suzuki Hitomi, and Nagata Shiori have been appointed to the film’s publicity department.
A New Story Set at Venus Jamboree
Aikatsu Stars! follows girls aiming to become top idols and has been enjoyed by fans since its TV broadcast began in 2016. The new film, produced as part of the 10th-anniversary project, presents a new story for Nijino Yume and the other idols.
The story takes place at “Venus Jamboree,” a live event that gathers top idols from around the world. As Yume and her friends approach graduation, Elza Forte of Neo Venus Ark sends them an invitation to appear. A mysterious passenger ship called “Petit Venus Ark” also appears before them. The film depicts each character facing her dreams and future path while continuing Aikatsu! with her friends.
Key Visual, Trailer, and Theme Songs
The released key visual shows Yume and the others moving toward their respective futures. Character designer Aikei Yukiko commented, “I am very happy to see Yume and the others take another step forward and grow,” and encouraged audiences to watch their growth at theaters.
The full trailer features the latest footage from the film and debuts part of the main theme, “Five stars.” Karasawa Miho wrote the lyrics, while Nagahashi Kenichi (agehasprings Party) composed and arranged the song. The ending theme, “Anata e,” also has lyrics by Karasawa Miho, with music and arrangement by Akiura Tomohiro (agehasprings Party).
≠ME Members Join the Publicity Department
≠ME’s Ogi Hana, Suzuki Hitomi, and Nagata Shiori have been named to the film’s publicity department. At a fan meeting held to commemorate the release, their appointment was announced and a commentary video was shown for the first time. The three will help communicate the film’s appeal through various projects and promotional activities.

The second round of MoviTicket cards will go on sale from October 23 for 1,600 yen (tax included). Each purchase comes with a “Hoshi no Postcard 5-Sheet Set” bonus. The postcards are randomly distributed in three varieties, and the advance tickets with the bonus are available in limited quantities.
