New PreCure Cosmetics for Adults Launch, Inspired by Classic Series!

Bandai’s adult-oriented cosmetic brands, Otona Pretty Holic and CURETTE!, are releasing new products based on the anime PreCure series. The latest lineup draws inspiration from Futari wa Precure Max Heart and Futari wa Precure Splash☆Star, with sales starting on January 17, 2026. To commemorate the launch, a pop-up shop titled “CURE/W” will be held at and ST TOKYO in Tokyo, focusing on the display and sale of these cosmetics.

The Ever-Evolving World of PreCure

The PreCure series, which began with Futari wa Precure on February 1, 2004, has seen 22 distinct series up to the currently airing Kimi to Idol Precure♪, with over 30 theatrical films. The stories follow protagonists who transform into the legendary warriors, the “PreCure,” to confront formidable foes, all while deeply exploring themes of friendship, bonds, and personal growth. The series refreshes its motifs, themes, and characters annually, continuing to be widely loved as an “aspirational” symbol for children.

The 22nd series, Kimi to Idol Precure♪, which started airing in February 2025, follows the adventures of heroine Sakura Uta and others who transform into the “Cure Idol” with an “Idol Smile” that cheers on fans, and the legendary savior Idol PreCure who lights up the darkness. Recently, the title for the latest 23rd series, Meitantei Precure! (which can be translated as Detective PreCure!), was announced, and further updates are eagerly awaited.

Otona Pretty Holic: Makeup for the Aspiring PreCure

Otona Pretty Holic is an adult-oriented cosmetics series featuring items themed after PreCure, allowing you to achieve a dignified yet cute makeup look worthy of the admired warriors. This second wave of products includes lipsticks and eye colors inspired by the worlds and transformation items of the 2005 series Futari wa Precure Max Heart and the 2006 series Futari wa Precure Splash☆Star.

The cases feature a luxurious design with gold plating, pearl paint, and rhinestones. The lipsticks have a heart-shaped design combining two colors inspired by the characters, showcasing attention to detail. When applied, the Pink x Gold combination shines gold, the Deep Pink x Orange shines pink, and the White x Light Blue shines silver.

The eye colors come in sparkling gold, orange, and purple shades, perfect for creating a dazzling eye look.

CURETTE!: Nostalgic and Authentic Cosmetics

CURETTE! is a brand launched by CreerBeaute, an adult cosmetics brand under Bandai’s Lifestyle Business Department. It offers authentic cosmetics filled with nostalgia and longing, aimed at those who grew up watching the PreCure series.

This release includes items like the “Fuwakao Compact” cosmetic compact, which looks like a stuffed toy and sold out repeatedly in the previous release, and the “Ponde Curl” series multi-color powders available from gashapon machines nationwide.

These are joined by a perfumed hand cream with a keychain, featuring costume designs, making for a total of three items. This lineup focuses not only on adorable looks but also on function and usability, so be sure to check it out.

Release & Pop-Up Shop Details

The various Otona Pretty Holic and CURETTE! products based on Futari wa Precure Max Heart and Futari wa Precure Splash☆Star will go on sale on January 17, 2026.
