Voice Actor Akihoro Suzumoto Announces First Photo Book Set in Nagano
The voice actor Akihoro Suzumoto, known for her role as Arisugawa Natsuba in The Idolmaster Shiny Colors, will release her first photo book on March 18, 2026. Pre-orders with special bonuses are now available at various bookstores.
Akihoro Suzumoto, born October 16 and represented by VIMS, is best known for her role as Arisugawa Natsuba. Her other major roles include Aikawa Aika in Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha (which can be translated as The Dreaming Boy is a Realist), Mili in THE NEW GATE, and Amaha Kaoru in Himitsu no Aipri.
For her long-awaited debut photo book, Nagano Prefecture was chosen as the location—a place she had always wanted to visit. The book captures her at famous Nagano spots like Zenkoji Temple and the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan’s Nobeyama site. It also fulfilled her dream of shooting in an onsen town and by a river!
A key highlight is the inclusion of a maid outfit. Suzumoto had promised her fans she would definitely wear one if she ever released a photo book. As someone who also loves looking at photo books, she poured her heart into this project. The editing and production are handled by Seiyuu Grand Prix, a publication with extensive experience in producing voice actor photo books.
Ahead of the release, Suzumoto shared her excitement: “Since a photo book is a form of expression that doesn’t use my voice, I went into the shoot with a little bit of nerves and a whole lot of excitement! The location was Nagano Prefecture, a place I’ve always wanted to go… I truly felt once again, as I always do, that I am here because of the support of so many people. After several years of running forward wondering what I had to offer, I’ve met so many treasures—things I can proudly say ‘I have this!’ This photo book, I believe, will become one such treasure. This volume was made possible by the support and cheers of many people. I hope it finds its way into the hands of everyone who supports me, and even those who don’t know me yet!”
