Who is your favorite “Traitor” character? Survey closes May 27th
Anime! Anime! will be conducting a reader survey titled “Who is your favorite ‘Traitor’ character?” for the second consecutive year. The deadline is May 27th.
June 2nd is known as the “Day of Betrayal.” Its origin lies in the “Honnoji no Hen,” which occurred on this day when Sengoku period general Akechi Mitsuhide turned against his lord, Oda Nobunaga.
In the world of anime, a character’s betrayal, especially by someone you trusted, can leave a profoundly strong impact on viewers. Whether they appeared to be allies but were secretly working for the enemy, changed sides due to unavoidable circumstances, or split ways because of fundamental differences in beliefs, the presence of traitor characters is often what makes a story truly exciting and memorable.
Following up from last year, Anime! Anime! is conducting a reader survey titled “Who is your favorite ‘Traitor’ character?”. We invite you to tell us the character and the work name that you think fits this description, in a free response format.
