Heroic New Merch Alert: Boku no Hero Academia “Buruburuzu” Plush Mascots!
Calling all hero fans! The much-loved series Boku no Hero Academia (also known as My Hero Academia) is getting a new line of adorable merchandise. Introducing the “Buruburuzu” mascot plushies, an Aiko Original product that’s set to launch in June 2026. You’ll be able to find these cuties at anime and hobby shops all over Japan.

What is Boku no Hero Academia?
Boku no Hero Academia (commonly referred to as Hiroaka) is a hero action manga by Horikoshi Kouhei that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump for about 10 years. Set in a world where superpowers called “Quirks” are commonplace, it follows the story of the protagonist, Midoriya Izuku (aka Deku), as he aims to become a hero who confronts villains who misuse their Quirks. He grows together with his companions at the prestigious hero training school, U.A. High School.
The TV anime first season started in April 2016, and the final chapter, Season 8 Boku no Hero Academia FINAL SEASON, concluded on December 13, 2025. To celebrate the anime’s 10th anniversary in 2026, a commemorative project “Boku no Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary” will be held.
