Sanrio’s iconic and ever-popular character, Hello Kitty, has joined forces with the lifestyle brand Maison de FLEUR—known for encapsulating that “Parisian adult cuteness” aesthetic—for a delightful “Special Collaboration Book.” This charming collection will be available at FamilyMart convenience stores and bookstores across Japan starting March 11, 2026.

Meet Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty made her debut in 1974 (the year she was designed) as a bright and kind-hearted girl. Born in the suburbs of London, England, she’s as tall as five apples and weighs as much as three! She loves baking cookies and playing the piano, and her dreams are to become either a pianist or a poet. Her favorite food is her mother’s apple pie, and she excels in music and English. Her birthday is November 1st.

Strawberry Dreams with Maison de FLEUR

This collaboration centers around Maison de FLEUR’s beloved strawberry motif, resulting in a special “Brand Book” featuring Hello Kitty. Based on a French-chic worldview, the collection stars Hello Kitty adorned with strawberry ribbons.

The brand book showcases four types of items that perfectly blend practicality with undeniable kawaii appeal. The design is a meticulous highlight, featuring a strawberry “stem” expressed through Maison de FLEUR’s signature ribbon icon.

The lineup includes the “Strawberry Plush Charm BOOK” which can also be attached to smartphones, the adorable “Strawberry Charm BOOK” with a form that allows for small item storage, the “Strawberry Multi-Case BOOK” (a 6-ring binder), and the “Strawberry Treasure Case BOOK” with a sturdy gusset to keep your precious items safe.

Luxurious Details & Exclusive Colors

The main body of each item uses a luxurious quilting material in a Hello Kitty-inspired red color. They are finished with a three-dimensional Hello Kitty made of fluffy material and delicate embroidery. These will be sold exclusively at FamilyMart.

At bookstores and online bookstores, the “Strawberry Multi-Case BOOK” and “Strawberry Treasure Case BOOK” will be available in a limited edition pink color.
