A Sweet Reward for Formidable Characters
First Place
First place goes to Uzumaki Naruto from NARUTO -Naruto-, with a support rate of about 40%.
Uzumaki Naruto is a ninja from Konohagakure (The Hidden Leaf Village), aiming to become the Hokage, the village leader. Readers commented, “He started as a failure but worked incredibly hard and finally became the Seventh Hokage. I want to reward all that effort with chocolate” and “Naruto is so expressive, he’d probably be overjoyed the moment he received it.” The comments highlight a desire to acknowledge his bright personality and relentless determination.
Second Place
Second place is Gojou Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen (it can be translated as Sorcery Fight), with a support rate of about 11%.
Gojou Satoru is a teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High, known as the strongest jujutsu sorcerer of the modern era, boasting overwhelming power. Fans said, “He has a sweet tooth so he’d definitely accept it. But since he buys ‘Yukihiko’ as souvenirs, I get the feeling he might prefer Japanese sweets over chocolate,” and “He often eats sweets to help him think.” His notorious love for sweets was a major reason fans want to give him a treat. This ranking comes as the TV anime’s third season is currently airing.
Third Place
Third place is Tomioka Giyuu from Kimetsu no Yaiba (it can be translated as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba), with a support rate of about 6%.
Tomioka Giyuu is one of the Hashira, the highest-ranking swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps, specifically the Water Hashira who uses Water Breathing. Comments included, “I’m curious what reaction the taciturn Giyuu-san would have,” and “Even if I gave it to him his expression might not change, but he’d probably be shocked on the inside.” His quiet nature makes fans especially curious about his response. It’s worth noting that in Chuu Kou Ikkitsu!! Kimetsu Gakuen Monogatari (Kimetsu Academy Story), it was revealed he received a whopping 31 chocolates.
A Look at Other Popular Characters
For Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece, one fan said, “Luffy has a huge appetite and was even eating a house made of chocolate on Whole Cake Island. If you give him chocolate, he’ll undoubtedly become a powerful ally!”
For Uesugi Fuutarou from Go-toubun no Hanayome (it can be translated as The Quintessential Quintuplets), a voter shared, “I want to give him friend-chocolate or even love-confession chocolate! Though, he has an ‘undiscriminating palate,’ so even expensive chocolate might just get a ‘tastes normal’ from him. He might actually be happier with cheap chocolate from the candy store.”
For Fukuhara Tamon from Tamon-kun Ima Dotchi!? (it can be translated as Which Way Now, Tamon-kun!?), a comment read, “He dances on stage, but at home he can barely move, so before liking him or anything, I first want him to get some nutrition. Though, when he flips a switch he gets super sexy, so if he came on to me then I might be in trouble (laughs).”
For Byoubu nozoki from Shabake, a fan of this Winter 2026 anime character said, “I want to give chocolate to someone from the Edo period who doesn’t know what it is! The Young Master, Nikichi-san, and Sasuke-san would probably get tons, so I’ll deliberately give mine to Byoubu nozoki…!”
In this survey, characters from battle anime dominated the top spots, with many comments expressing a wish to reward them for their fierce struggles and hard work.
