Opening Theme: “Isho” by Kitani Tatsuya
Kitani Tatsuya, who continues to cross genre boundaries with his solo work, collaborations, and songwriting for other artists, delivers a brand-new track written specifically for Kore Kaite Shine. The song, titled “Isho”, captures the raw essence of creative passion. Kitani commented on the track with his characteristic intensity:
“Creative activity is a scream of ‘I am here (I was here).’ It’s the desire for people a thousand years from now to know about me – and creation is what makes even that seem possible. But the core of it is throwing every bit of your current self onto the paper before you. In other words, creation is a testament that keeps getting overwritten and updated as long as you’re alive.”
First PV – A Glimpse into the Girls’ Manga-Making Journey
The newly released PV (first proper promotional video) opens with the protagonist Anmi Sō discovering the manga “Robota to Pokota” by ☆Yano Zero Saku – her personal bible. From there, we see a cast of colorful characters forming a manga research club, diving into the joys and struggles of creation. Set to the powerful “Isho”, the footage vividly portrays the青春 (youth) of high school girls pouring their hearts into manga. It’s a tantalizing preview that only heightens anticipation for the summer premiere.
