The official website for Soukou Kihei Votoms: Haiiro no Hexe (also known as Armored Trooper Votoms: Die Graue Hexe) has revealed additional staff members, a second teaser visual, and a second teaser trailer. The anime is set to premiere as two movies, with the first film opening in theaters on November 20, 2026.

Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor) is directing the anime at Sunrise, with Production I.G credited for production cooperation.
Background
The original Soukou Kihei Votoms television anime aired 52 episodes from Spring 1983 to Winter 1984. The franchise has since spawned multiple OVAs and films, including Red Shoulder Document – Yabou no Roots (1988), Pailsen Files (2007–2008), and its movie adaptation (2009). Later OVAs include Kakuyaku taru Itan (1994), Genei-hen (2010), and Koei Futatabi (2011). More recent spin-offs Case;Irvine and Votoms Finder were released in 2010.
