TV anime Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance has revealed its main visual. Along with this, an advance screening of episodes 1 and 2 and revival screenings of the two movie sequels have been announced.
The world was nearly destroyed thirty years ago by unknown invasive alien organisms. Humanity and these invasive species have been competing for living space; human safety is barely maintained, and the world could fall at any moment. People live in fear of death and destruction, turning a blind eye to danger. In this world, the United Nations Hazardous Organism Investigation Agency EXCEEDS begins operations to repel crises and disasters caused by the invaders. The story begins in the far eastern island nation Mizuho. Shina Kuse, a young girl living on a remote island as an invasive species extermination hunter, wishes for a quiet life with her only remaining family, her sister Setsuna. What event lies in store for her?
The newly released main visual brings together all the characters that have been gradually revealed so far. The composition is striking: the two factions EXCEEDS and the Majin-gari (Demon Hunter) members are each looking in different directions. What are they aiming for, and where are they headed? Their true intentions remain shrouded in mystery, raising expectations for the revelations in the main story.
An advance screening of episodes 1 and 2 will be held on Sunday, June 21 at Marunouchi Piccadilly. In addition to the screening, a talk show featuring six cast members—Azusa Tachibana, Asaki Yuikawa, Chiharu, Aika Kobayashi, Ayasa Ito, and Hina Aoki—is planned. Discussions that can only happen after the screening and the first unveiling of new footage are highly anticipated. Tickets are currently available via Lawson Ticket. Furthermore, to commemorate the broadcast start of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance, revival screenings of the two Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha movie sequels have been announced. The special two-week event will screen Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Reflection from June 12 (Fri) to June 18 (Thu), and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Detonation from June 19 (Fri) to June 25 (Thu). This is a rare chance to experience on the big screen the story leading into the latest TV series. Details on theaters will be announced later.
