Pokémon Immersive Entertainment Project to Launch in Europe in Spring 2027

A brand-new immersive entertainment project that allows fans to experience the world of Pokémon as a Trainer is set to begin in Europe in spring 2027. The initiative is a collaboration between Mitsui Fudosan, global multimedia studio Moment Factory, and The Pokémon Company International.

Location-Based Entertainment Partnership

Mitsui Fudosan has entered into a partnership with Moment Factory in the field of Location-Based Entertainment (LBE) — immersive experiences that take place at a specific venue. This Pokémon project marks the first undertaking under that partnership. The two companies are serving as executive producers, combining their respective strengths to create new experiential value.

Mitsui Fudosan’s long-term management policy, “& INNOVATION 2030,” positions the entertainment sector as a key growth area and aims for the company to evolve into an “industrial developer.” This project is part of the LBE business that Mitsui Fudosan is leading as the main operator. The company has a history of creating places where people connect through urban development, and for this project it states, “Based on that philosophy, we aim to fuse real spaces, content, and technology to create new moving experiences.”

What the Experience Will Be Like

The new Pokémon experience is being realized through a global team with diverse expertise. The strengths of the Pokémon brand — loved across generations and borders — are combined with Moment Factory’s advanced production capabilities and Mitsui Fudosan’s know-how and network in real-world placemaking. The goal is to deliver an experience that can only be had at this venue. Through interactive technology and innovative storytelling, the world of Pokémon will be expressed in a real physical space. The aim is to provide an immersive experience where fans can connect with each other in the real world and go on adventures as Pokémon Trainers.
