A special original medicated cola, “Nekoneko Karaku” (MaoMao Cola), is now available from “Charasyrup,” a drink brand that offers original craft syrups inspired by various titles and characters from the TV anime `Kusuriya no Hitorigoto`. `Kusuriya no Hitorigoto` is a palace mystery entertainment based on a novel by Hyuuga Natsu, published by Hero Bunko and also serialized in “Big Gangan” and “Sunday GX,” with a cumulative series total exceeding 40 million copies. Set in a fictional ancient Eastern land, it depicts the story of MaoMao, a young girl serving as a “poison tester,” who solves various difficult cases occurring within the palace.

The second season, which began airing in January 2025, has garnered significant attention, consistently ranking high on various streaming platforms.
