TV anime Sousou no Frieren is launching a new merchandise series themed around the hot spring scenes that appear in the story. Dubbed “Onsen no Frieren”, the first item in the series is a specially designed Kerorin bucket featuring Frieren herself relaxing in a steamy bath.
The Kerorin bucket is a long-standing Japanese bath accessory known for its durability and the printed advertisement for KERORIN, a fever and pain reliever produced by Toyama Megumi Pharmaceutical, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2025. The bucket uses a special printing technique that makes the design nearly indestructible under normal use.
For this collaboration, the bottom of the bucket bears an original illustration of Frieren enjoying a hot spring, taken from episode 31 (season 2, episode 3) titled “Suki na Basho” (Favorite Place). The design also includes the series’ concept line: “A magic that warms you from the core.”
Sousou no Frieren is based on the manga by Yamada Kanehito (story) and Abe Tsukasa (art), serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. It follows the thousand-year-old elf mage Frieren and her new companions as they journey through a world where the demon king has already been defeated. The first TV anime season aired from September 2023 to March 2024, the second season from January to March 2026, and a third season covering the “Golden Land” arc is scheduled for October 2027.
The “Onsen no Frieren” Kerorin bucket is priced at 2,530 yen (tax included). Preorders began on June 3, 2026 at the AKROS OFFICIAL SHOP and AOZORAGEAR online SHOP. Specifications: diameter 225 mm, height 115 mm, weight 360 g, material polypropylene. Manufactured by Slow Curve Co., Ltd. and sold by Across Co., Ltd.
