Anime director Hosoda Mamoru’s largest-ever exhibition, “Hosoda Mamoru no Kigen/ten” (The Origins of Mamoru Hosoda), is set to run from June 20 to August 31, 2026 at CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO in Tokyo’s Kyobashi district. The exhibition showcases production materials from his iconic films including Toki o Kakeru Shōjo (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time), Summer Wars, and Ōkami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki (Wolf Children).

Now, new details have been revealed for the attached theme cafe, a collaboration with lifestyle brand niko and…, and a digital stamp rally tie-in.
Theme Cafe “OZ cafe”

The cafe, dubbed “OZ cafe,” will be located at CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO CAFE. It features original menu items inspired by the virtual world OZ from Summer Wars, as well as dishes and desserts based on memorable scenes and characters from Toki o Kakeru Shōjo and Ōkami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki.

Menu highlights include a pasta and float drink designed to resemble the “OZ tower,” and sweets themed after characters King Kazma and Kari Kenji. Some items are interactive, recreating scenes from the films for a photo-worthy experience.
In addition, every 3,000 yen (tax included) spent at the cafe earns customers one sticker from a set of three designs.
Collaboration with niko and…

To commemorate the exhibition, the style editorial brand niko and… has created exclusive collaboration items available only at the venue. These products allow fans to bring the atmosphere of “that summer” into everyday life.
Tokyo Metro OZ Digital Stamp Rally

A digital stamp rally titled “Tokyo Metro OZ Digital Stamp Rally” will take place across six locations connected to Hosoda’s works. Participants can collect digital stamps at each site.

Those who collect stamps from three of the six locations (first 10,000 participants) can receive a “Summer Wars Original Sticker” at the exhibition ticket counter. Furthermore, anyone who collects all six stamps will be entered into a drawing for 20 winners to receive an exclusive “OZ Patapata Clock.”

Artizon Museum Collaboration

Additionally, CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO is running a crossover campaign with the Artizon Museum’s “Ettore Sottsass – The Beginning of Magic, Design is Born” exhibition, which opens June 23. Visitors to both exhibitions during the campaign period will receive an original sticker.
The “Hosoda Mamoru no Kigen/ten” exhibition runs from June 20 to August 31, 2026 in Tokyo, with subsequent stops in Osaka (October 28, 2026 – January 4, 2027 at Grand Front Osaka) and Fukuoka (January 22 – March 28, 2027 at Fukuoka City Museum). Tickets are currently on sale via e+.
For the cafe, the hours are 11:00 to 18:00 (until 20:00 on Fridays, Saturdays, and certain holidays), and no exhibition ticket is required to enter. Note that the cafe operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and numbered tickets may be distributed during busy times.
