The “UA Monsters Destoroyah (Perfect Form)” is now accepting orders at the official Bandai online shop Premium Bandai. It is priced at 59,180 yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in December 2026.
Japan’s iconic giant monster Godzilla first appeared in 1954 with the original film. Since then, the Toho-produced Godzilla series has grown to 30 films. Recent highlights include 2016’s Shin Godzilla directed by Hideaki Anno, and 2023’s Godzilla Minus One, which became the first Japanese film to win the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects. A new film, Godzilla -0.0, directed by Takashi Yamazaki (who also directed Godzilla Minus One), is set for release on November 3, 2026. The franchise has also seen anime adaptations, such as the 2021 TV series Godzilla Singular Point, which brought in new fans.
Massive Scale and Detail
This Destoroyah figure is an entirely new sculpt and stands as the largest in the UA Monsters series to date. It measures approximately 360mm at the head, 410mm in total height including wings, and 650mm in width. Every part of the body has been meticulously sculpted, from the sharp claws to the textured hide, aiming for realistic monster presence.
LED and Sound Gimmicks
The figure is equipped with LED and sound effects. In Mode 1, the eyes and horns light up while several types of roaring sounds play. In Mode 2, it reproduces the Oxygen Destroyer Ray fired from the mouth and the Variable Slicer attack (which uses micro-oxygen to tear into Godzilla (1995)), both accompanied by coordinated LED lights and audio.
The dedicated base contains the LED and sound mechanism, and the set includes two stickers and a tail support. Power requires three AA batteries (sold separately).
