New merchandise featuring the delightfully soft “munyugurumi” plush toys of Pompompurin has arrived. Pre-orders began on June 12, 2026 (Friday) via the official Munyugurumi Patio EC site.
Currently, Sanrio is running the “2026 Sanrio Character Ranking.” In the interim results, Pompompurin—who claimed the top spot last year for the first time in nine years—holds first place, followed by Cinnamoroll in second and Pochacco in third. All eyes are on the final results.
Now, new goods for the interim leader Pompompurin have been released. Two series are available: the “Pompompurin Yume Iro Change Series,” featuring colorful costumes, and the “Pompompurin Magical Purin Series,” with stylish red capes.
The “Pompompurin Yume Iro Change Series” includes the touch-focused “munyugurumi mascot” plush, as well as “torururu acrylic keychains” and other dreamy-cute items. With a rich variety of colors and expressions, fans can choose their favorite color or match with friends for different ways to enjoy.
The series also features trading items such as hologram stickers with glittery material, mini clips, and clear cards. The pastel coloring and fairy-tale designs are sure to provide a soothing experience.
The “Pompompurin Magical Purin Series” is a cute lineup featuring characters wearing red capes. In addition to Pompompurin, goods for his friends Muffin, Scone, and Bagel are also included.
Like the Yume Iro Change Series, the “munyugurumi mascot” plush will be sold, along with lame acrylic clip badges and postcard sets. Badges and stickers are each available as trading items in six types.
The pre-order reservation period runs until June 28, 2026 (Sunday) at 23:59. Additionally, items are on sale at the “Pompompurin POP UP STORE × Munyugurumi Patio (within Munyugurumi Patio LA FIESTA 2026)” being held at Seibu Shibuya A Building 2nd floor from June 5 (Friday) to July 8 (Wednesday), operating hours 10:00–20:00.
