The Godzilla series pop-up shop “GODZILLA STATION in JR Kyoto Station” will be held from June 26 to July 5, 2026 at the Ekimaru à la Mode JR Kyoto Station West Exit Shop. This marks the first time the shop has opened in the Kansai region, following previous events primarily in Kanto and eastern Japan. The venue will feature exclusive and new products from figure maker CCPJAPAN and other manufacturers.
Godzilla first appeared in 1954 and has captivated audiences worldwide for over 70 years. The 2023 film Godzilla Minus One was a global hit and won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects. The Hollywood film Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire grossed over 84.5 billion yen worldwide. The next Japanese film, Godzilla-0.0 directed by Yamazaki Takashi, is scheduled for release on November 3, 2026.
This pop-up shop is an official event for the Godzilla series. It will offer a variety of goods including miscellaneous items, apparel, and figures.
Toho original goods include the “DESKTOP MONSTER Godzilla (2016) Mobile Stand Heated Radiation ver.”, “Godzilla Deformed Sticker”, and “Godzilla (2023) Big Print T-Shirt”.
Figure maker CCPJAPAN will sell items in GODZILLA STATION exclusive colors. The lineup includes the “BIG Retro Sofubi Series Godzilla (2001) Limited Aurora Reflection Ver.”, “BIG Retro Sofubi Series Godzilla (1995) Limited Golden Glitter Lame Ver.”, “AMC Chimney Hedora Limited Nishikigoi Image Clear Ver.”, and “AMC Hedora Landing Period Limited Nishikigoi Image Clear Ver.”.
From the “CCP Middle Size Series” come “Godzilla EX Godzilla (2016) Limited Abyssal Reflection Ver.”, “Godzilla EX King Ghidorah (1991) Limited Metallic Red Ver.”, “Godzilla EX SpaceGodzilla Limited Galaxy Reflection Ver.”, “Hedora Limited Pastel Pink Ver.”, and “Hedora Nishikigoi Image Clear Ver.”.
