Nintama Rantarou Film Style Collection
Nintama Rantarou is an anime series based on Amako Soubee’s manga Rakudai Ninja Rantarou, which began serialization in “Asahi Shougakusei Shinbun” in 1986. The TV series started broadcasting in 1993 and has been loved by a wide range of generations since then. Set in the Sengoku period, it depicts the bright, fun, and cheerful daily lives of the “ninja no tamago” (ninja apprentices) – Rantarou, Kirimaru, and Shinbe’e, the central trio – as they study at Ninjutsu Gakuen.
In December 2024, Gekijouban Nintama Rantarou Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyou no Gunshi was released as an animated adaptation of the novel Shousetsu Rakudai Ninja Rantarou Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyou no Gunshi, which is highly popular among fans. The story begins with Doi sensei disappearing after heading to a duel with the Tasogaredoki ninja, Morozumi Sonamon, and depicts a narrative awaiting a serious development, a little different from the usual Nintama Rantarou.
