The long-awaited Nintendo Switch port of Uta no Prince-sama♪ Shining Live finally has a release date. Uta no Prince-sama♪ Shining Live for Nintendo Switch will launch on December 17, 2026, bringing over six years of mobile game content to the hybrid console. Alongside the standard and limited editions, Animate will offer exclusive sets featuring a drama CD and character-specific merchandise for Otoya, Shou, Reiji, and Ai.
What the Switch Version Offers
Described as a “rhythm action game you can be with 365 days a year,” the Switch version packs in the main story, event stories, and side stories from the original smartphone app. Players can enjoy 76 songs out of the box, and by purchasing additional content packs, the total rises to 129 playable tracks. The game has been optimized for Nintendo Switch play, making it a comprehensive package for longtime fans and newcomers alike.
Animate Exclusive Sets
Animate will sell two types of exclusive bundles. The Drama CD Set includes a special drama CD titled Memorable story feat. “見習い陰陽師 音晴奮闘記” (Apprentice Onmyoji Otoharu’s Struggle). This drama is based on a popular New Year’s event story from the mobile game, in which Otoya Ittoki plays the apprentice onmyoji “Otoharu” and Shou Kurusu plays his shikigami “Shounoshin,” as they work to subdue evil spirits. The full cast includes:

The Otoya / Shou / Reiji / Ai Set (four separate versions, one per character) includes the same drama CD plus a set of limited goods featuring that character’s visual: a glitter pin badge (56mm diameter), an acrylic stand (body approx. 90×80mm, base 50×50mm), a blanket (approx. 594×841mm), and a mini photo. Each set is sold individually for the respective idol.
Pricing and Editions
The game comes in two base editions:

- Limited Edition: 36,000 yen (tax incl.)
The Limited Edition includes the regular game plus two download codes for “Memorial Pack 2020-2021” and “Memorial Pack 2022-2023,” an 11-pin badge set, 11 hologram clear ticket-style cards, a sticker, a limited edition drama CD (Memorable Story feat. “Chords of Feelings”), and a special box.
