ULTRA MART TOKYO Opens in Harajuku with mofusand x Ultraman Collaboration Plushies

Tsuburaya Productions is opening a new experiential culture store, ULTRA MART TOKYO, in Tokyo’s Harajuku district on July 10, 2026. The first theme for the opening is “ULTRA CUTE,” offering a space filled with adorable aesthetics and exclusive collaboration merchandise featuring the popular cat character series mofusand.

A New Landmark for Harajuku

ULTRA MART TOKYO is not just a character goods shop. The store aims to become a new landmark where people gather, meet up, take photos, and share moments — a place where the phrase “in front of Ultramart in Harajuku” comes naturally. Rooted in the 60th anniversary of Ultraman, the store will constantly evolve, meeting diverse values in fashion, art, technology, and more, while challenging new expressions. The store itself remains a permanent fixture, but its themes and concepts will change regularly, offering fresh discoveries and surprises each visit.

First Theme: mofusand Collaboration

From opening day, the first theme is a limited collaboration with mofusand, the cute cat characters created by illustrator Jyuno. Exclusive items available only at this store will create an “Ultra Cute” atmosphere.

Exclusive Plushie: mofusand x Ultraman Kiramekko (Ultraman Tiga)

To celebrate the opening, a special accessory plushie called mofusand×Ultraman Kiramekko (Ultraman Tiga) will be available. This product features cats dressed as Ultraman Tiga, who celebrates 30 years since his broadcast debut this year and enjoys global popularity. Regular Edition: mofusand x Ultraman Kiramekko vol.1 (3 Types)

Following the positive response to the pastel-colored special edition sold at Anime Japan, a regular edition in familiar colors will also be released. The set includes three types: Ultraman, Baltan-seijin, and Pigmon, all dressed in fluffy costumes. These plushies can be attached to bags or displayed on desks, bringing daily comfort. Purchasers in-store will also receive a mofusand × Ultraman limited sticker as a bonus.
