Production of a third season for the TV anime Wistoria: Wand and Sword has been officially confirmed. To mark the announcement, a new key visual and a teaser trailer have been released.
Wistoria: Wand and Sword is a fantasy manga serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. The original story is by Oomori Fujino (author of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?), with art by Aoi Sei. The series follows Will, a boy who challenges a world ruled by magic supremacy with nothing but a single sword.
The TV anime aired its first season from July to September 2024. Season 2 began broadcasting on April 12, 2026, and concluded on June 28, 2026. Immediately after the finale, the production of Season 3 was announced, along with a commemorative visual drawn by character designer Ono Sayaka and a production decision teaser.
Additionally, a comprehensive original soundtrack titled TV Anime “Wistoria: Wand and Sword” Music Collection will be released digitally. The collection includes all 89 tracks of background music composed by Hayashi Yuuki from both Season 1 and Season 2.
Illustrations for the bookcase of the Season 2 Blu-ray box set (lower volume, releasing November 27) have also been revealed. The bookcase features a newly drawn illustration by Aoi Sei. When combined with the upper volume (releasing August 26), the two bookcases form a single complete picture.
Using this illustration, the design for the A-on STORE purchase bonus (a 2L-size bromide) has also been announced. Both the upper and lower volumes are priced at 22,000 yen (tax included).
