The summer anime Skeleton Knight in Another World II (骸骨騎士様、只今異世界へお出掛け中II) has unveiled the synopsis and advance scene cuts for episode 1, titled “Deadly Battle? Silver Knight vs Silver Knight!” The episode is scheduled to begin airing on July 4, 2026 (Saturday).
Skeleton Knight in Another World II is based on the light novel series by Hakari Enki with illustrations by KeG, published by Overlap under the Overlap Novels imprint. The series has surpassed 3.5 million copies in circulation (including digital). The story follows Arc, a player who falls asleep while playing an MMORPG and wakes up in a strange world in the form of his in-game character—a skeleton knight. To avoid being hunted as a monster, he decides to keep a low profile and enjoy the new world, but his kind-hearted nature leads him to repeatedly intervene against injustice.
Following the first season that aired from April to June 2022, the second season is directed by Ono Katsumi at animation studio Aura Studio. The cast includes Maeno Tomoaki as Arc, Fairouz Ai as Arian, Hieda Nene as Ponta, and Tomita Miyu as Chiyome.
Episode 1 Synopsis: “Deadly Battle? Silver Knight vs Silver Knight!”
Arc continues his journey toward the Wind Dragon Mountains, where a spring said to break curses is located, accompanied by the elf warrior Arian, the beastman ninja Chiyome, and the spirit beast Ponta.
Unable to ignore those in trouble, the group repeatedly helps people along the way, eventually arriving at a village far from their intended destination. However, when the villagers see Arc and his companions, they all flee in fear.
Episode 1 of Skeleton Knight in Another World II will premiere on July 4 (Saturday) at 20:30 on AT-X, d Anime Store, and ABEMA, ahead of the regular broadcast. Regular broadcasts begin July 6 on AT-X, and July 9 on TOKYO MX and BS11.
