The upcoming W Hero summer movie double feature—Kamen Rider Zetts: Sayonara no Mission and Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity: Taiyou ga Naita Hi—has revealed its final trailer, along with new cast announcements. NCT127 member YUTA and voice actress/singer Ayana Taketatsu will appear in the Kamen Rider Zetts segment. The films open nationwide in Japan on July 24, 2026.
Kamen Rider Zetts: Sayonara no Mission
The story follows Maku Baku, a young man who dreams of becoming an invincible agent. Using the first-ever chest-mounted transformation belt, the Zetts Driver, he transforms into Kamen Rider Zetts to protect humanity from nightmare monsters called “Nightmares.” In the final trailer, a shocking scene shows the National Police Agency being blown up, and Maku Baku’s ominous words set the tone. Brainwashed civilians and intense motorcycle chases unfold. The true enemy, Kudo Soma / Kamen Rider Mugen (played by Sono Shunta), eliminates Koitaka Masanori / Nox / Kamen Rider Nox (played by Furukawa Yuki). As Maku Baku cries out in anguish, the theme song “Dreams Never Sleep” by YUTA kicks in, and previously defeated enemies return. CODE agents gather for a fierce battle. The trailer ends with the symbolic line “Dreams surpass reality” and a glimpse of the movie-exclusive form, Kamen Rider Zetts Agent Dream.
YUTA, who performs the theme song, also appears in the film as an actor under his real name Nakamoto Yuta. He plays a mysterious biker who appears before Natsuka Nagumo (played by Rina Onuki) of the Strange Affairs Division. YUTA commented, “I couldn’t stop being excited about appearing in the Kamen Rider series I’ve always admired. It’s become a treasure for life!” He added, “I appear in a biker outfit that I chose together with the stylist. And the bike is cool too!”
Ayana Taketatsu, known for her voice acting and singing, plays a news anchor reporting a major breaking story. The final trailer shows her reporting from a helicopter. Taketatsu said, “In the scene where I report from a helicopter, I was hit by an incredible wind, and my eyes and gums got really dry! (laughs) I’m delivering a major news story while enduring that dryness, so please watch the movie and check it out!”
Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity: Taiyou ga Naita Hi
The final trailer for the Gavan film opens with Gavan Infinity / Dojo Reiji (played by Kohei Nagata) taking heavy damage—his combat suit mask is broken, revealing his bare arm. He then evolves into the movie-exclusive form, Gavan Infinity Apollo. As the sun is swallowed by a demonic space, the Cosmo Gavarion gathers Gavan warriors and their partners from various dimensions. However, Gavan Killer / Hasegawa Makoto (played by Tsutomu Takahashi) stands in their way, aiming to erase all Gavan from every dimension. With Reiji’s powerful line, “If all the Gavans get together, there’s nothing we can’t do!” the new song “Emotionalism” by May’n—who also performed the TV series theme “LOVE IS THE STRONGEST” and insert song “What’s a Hero”—plays, heating up the film. The trailer ends with a battered Reiji looking back and the catchphrase, “A hero rises again and again.”
May’n’s powerful vocals drive the emotional climax as the Gavans from each dimension resolve to transform and fight for the universe and for Reiji. The meaning behind Gavan Killer’s battle and Reiji’s anger—not at the enemy but at himself—is depicted.
