Necronomiko no Cosmic Horror Show is an original TV anime from Cygames that tells a story centered around “liver” (streamer) characters navigating the world of VR games. Kuro no Miko, a bottom-tier liver struggling to make ends meet, was in despair. Recently, a mysterious incident has occurred where popular livers lose consciousness during live streams. Her companion, Maizaka Mayu, also fell victim and is hospitalized, and Miko’s own view counts aren’t growing at all.

Then, Miko receives an invitation to a new VR game called “Kadas”. This turns out to be a death game set up by Cthulhu and other Evil Gods who plot humanity’s destruction. Can Miko and the others, each harboring their own intentions, survive this inescapable battle? The chilling cosmic horror show is about to begin.
