Summer Anime Tensei Soushu no Hadoutan: Authentic Chinese Fantasy Voiced by Masuda Toshiki, Ishimi Manaka and Others Begins! Episode 1 Preview Cuts
The summer anime *Tensei Soushu no Hadoutan ~Subete wo Nomikomu Sakana to Haiagaru~* has just revealed the synopsis and preview cuts for its first episode, “Shuttatsu” (Departure), which is set to air starting July 2, 2025. Additionally, character PVs for the protagonist Fan Lingxiao (Fan Rinshao) and Liu Fengman (Riu Fonman) have also been unveiled!
*Tensei Soushu no Hadoutan ~Subete wo Nomikomu Sakana to Haiagaru~* is the Japanese dub version of a highly popular recent anime from the Chinese video-sharing service “bilibili”. The original series, titled *※呑天下* (which can be translated as “*Devouring the World*”), began streaming in May 2025 and quickly garnered over 10 million views in just about two weeks. This action-packed fantasy series tells the story of a young man who, after suffering an unjust death by being swallowed by his own spirit beast, is reborn with a new life and strives once again to become the strongest in the world, depicted on a truly impressive scale.
Lending their voices to the Japanese dub are talented voice actors active across various genres. Masuda Toshiki takes on the dual roles of the protagonist, Fan Lingxiao (Fan Rinshao) and his reborn self, Liu Fengman (Riu Fonman). The heroine of the story, Gu Ling (Gu Rin), a spirit master belonging to the Lingxiaokaku, is voiced by Ishimi Manaka, an actress popular for her roles in numerous hit works.
Episode 1 “Shuttatsu” Synopsis
In order to clear his family’s name from false charges, Fan Lingxiao (Fan Rinshao), the young master of Lingxiaokaku, challenges a match for promotion to class A.
Undeterred by a formidable opponent, Fan is confident of victory. However, his confidence is short-lived. His partner spirit beast, Nen, falls out of control and rampages, ultimately swallowing him whole.
Character PVs Released
Prior to the broadcast of Episode 1, character PVs for Fan Lingxiao (Fan Rinshao) and Liu Fengman (Riu Fonman) have also been unveiled. The videos showcase Liu Fengman (Riu Fonman), the appearance Fan takes after his reincarnation, displaying his skills as a genius spirit master. These teasers definitely build excitement for the spirit beast battles that will unfold in the story!
Episode 1 “Shuttatsu” of the summer anime *Tensei Soushu no Hadoutan ~Subete wo Nomikomu Sakana to Haiagaru~* is set to broadcast on Fujiterebijon and bilibili’s anime block “B8station” starting July 2nd, 2025, at 25:25 (effectively July 3rd at 1:25 AM JST).
