The special collaboration event “Kimetsu no Yaiba x Yunessun: Hakone Onsen Tan ~Fuji no Hana no Kyuusoku~” will be held at Hakone Kowakien Yunessun from July 18 to October 4, 2026. The event offers a variety of activities including collaboration baths, saunas, tickets, drinks, goods, rooms, and accommodation plans, allowing fans to experience the world of the anime in a hot spring setting.
About the Anime
Based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, which has sold over 220 million copies worldwide, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” follows Tanjirou Kamado as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps to save his sister Nezuko, who has been turned into a demon. The anime, produced by ufotable, began with the television series in 2019 and has since expanded into a major franchise. The latest film, “Infinity Castle Arc: Chapter 1 – Akaza’s Return,” was released on July 18, 2025, and the series was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film.
Collaboration Drinks and Goods
Among the offerings is the “Fuji no Hana” evil spirit drink, inspired by the house with the wisteria crest from the series. Purchasers will receive a random original tag (15 types).
Original goods featuring ufotable’s newly drawn illustrations are also available. Items include can badges, acrylic stands, face towels, and waterproof multi-cases, all depicting characters enjoying Hakone Kowakien.
Additionally, a “hot spring yukata” version of the illustrations will be used for trading can badges, acrylic stands, locker key acrylic keychains, and milk bottle cap motif items, adding a hot spring atmosphere to the merchandise.
Collaboration Tickets and Hotel Plans
During the event, collaboration tickets with a “rough towel” featuring the new illustrations will be sold. At the adjacent Hakone Hotel Kowakien, a collaboration room with a limited-edition novelty for guests and an accommodation plan with an original hand towel are available.
For every 2,000 yen (tax included) spent on original goods, customers will receive a random postcard (10 types). A follow-and-repost campaign on X (formerly Twitter) is also being held.
